The Awase Seller Code: Rules for Abundance

1. The Quality of Plenty

At Awase, abundance never means "clutter." We prioritize quality over quantity.

• Authenticity: All items must be accurately described. No counterfeit goods or misleading replicas are permitted.

• Condition: Items must be clearly labeled as New, Vintage, or Refurbished.

• Curation: Awase reserves the right to remove listings that do not meet our aesthetic or quality benchmarks to ensure the marketplace remains a "destination of discovery."

2. Transparent Representation

Trust is the foundation of our community.

• Original Photography: Use high-quality, clear images that you own the rights to. Stock photos should be kept to a minimum and never used as the primary image for handmade or unique goods.

• Honest Pricing: No "bait-and-switch" pricing. The price listed must be the final price of the product (excluding shipping and taxes).

• Inventory Management: Sellers must keep inventory levels up to date. If an item is out of stock, it must be marked as such immediately.

3. The "Flow of Goods" (Shipping & Fulfillment)

Abundance is felt through a seamless delivery experience.

• Prompt Shipping: Orders must be processed and shipped within [e.g., 3 business days] unless otherwise stated in the product description (for custom/made-to-order items).

• Communication: Sellers must provide valid tracking information as soon as the item is dispatched.

• Eco-Conscious Packaging: While not mandatory, we strongly encourage sellers to use sustainable, minimal, or recyclable packaging to align with our "earth-friendly abundance" philosophy.

4. Community Ethics & Conduct

The "Awase" spirit is one of mutual respect.

• Direct Communication: Sellers must respond to customer inquiries within 24–48 hours with a helpful and professional tone.

• No "Off-Platform" Solicitation: To protect the ecosystem, sellers may not redirect Awase customers to their own external websites for payment to bypass platform fees.

• Zero Tolerance for Hate: We do not permit products that promote discrimination, violence, or hatred based on race, religion, gender, or orientation.

5. Fair Returns & Disputes

• Clear Policies: Every seller must have a clearly stated return/refund policy on their shop page.

• The "Grace" Principle: We encourage sellers to work with buyers in good faith. If a dispute arises, the Awase moderation team will mediate based on these rules.

🛠 Enforcement

To protect the "Marketplace of Plenty," violations of these rules may result in:

1. Warning/Listing Removal: For minor or first-time infractions.

2. Shop Suspension: For repeated shipping delays or poor communication.

3. Permanent Ban: For fraudulent activity or violation of our ethics code.
